Daniel Kac died
Our author, Daniel Kac, a writer, a poet, and translator died on October 30th, 2005. He was 97. The Borderland has published Kac's life-work about a distinguished Yiddish poet from Vilnius, Abraham Sutzkever - Vilne was Jerusalem. |

Natan Gross died
Natan Gross, one of the last survivors of Shoah, died on 5th October, 2005. A friend of the Borderland who assisted and supported us until his last days. He was a poet, a writer, a reciter, a director, a scenarist, film producer, a critic and translator, animator of many cultural events in Israel where he lived since 1950.
