1. Rutgers University, from 24 March to 14 April - lectures, workshops and presentations of Borderland's work  for the participants of the program "Urban Civic Initiative": students at the Department of Arts, Culture and Media and members of the YouthBuild non-governmental organization. Continuation of a project initiated in 2015 and conducted by the dean of the Department prof. Ian Watson and Krzysztof Czyżewski.

2. Rutgers University, March 29, 6 p.m., Aljira A Center for Contemporary Art, Newark,, "The Third Space - Arts, Community, Rutgers-Newark and Change": Public Forum with the participation of Krzysztof Czyżewski, Jan Cohen Cruz, Wayne Winborn, Victor Dawson, and Anne Englot. Moderator: Ian Watson.

3. Princeton University, March 30, 4.30 p.m., Slavic Languages and Literatures Department - lecture held by Krzysztof Czyżewski, titled "Borderlands of Central and Eastern Europe", combined with a seminar.

4. University of Illinois w Chicago, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, April 8, 4.15 p.m.  Krzysztof Czyżewski gave the Hejna Polish Studies Annual Lecture titled "Borderland as Koinos Logos" (http://lcsl.uic.edu/slavic-baltic/events/2016/04/08/default-calendar/hejna-polish-studies-annual-lecture).

5. University of Illinois at Chicago, April 10-12 - presentation of the activities of Borderland during the  Polish Jewish Studies Workshop "Doikeyt, Diaspora, Borderlands: Imagining Polish Jewish Territories", organized by the Polish-Jewish Studies Initiative established in 2013 by the American Universities of Princeton , Illinois, Ohio and Michigan (http://polishjewishstudies.uic.edu/).
