He was born in 1979 and graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Lviv. HIs interests are focussed on performance painting installations and graphic design.
In 2013 Volodymyr Topyi received the Gaude Polonia scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
Volodymyr Topyi is staying in Krasnogruda in the International Centre for Dialogue between 1 and 31 May.
