International Dialogue Center in Krasnogruda
Since the beginning Czesław Miłosz has been a spiritual patron of the project of founding the Center. The manor-house in Krasnogruda, situated at the Polish-Lithuanian border, close to Sejny, once belonged to the relatives of Miłosz's mother. It is the most desirable site of the future Center, because it will focus on multicultural heritage of Kingdom of Poland and Grand Duchy of Lithuania and its new understanding in the context of unifying Europe. |
