A working session of "New Agora” 19-21 March 2018

The “New Agora’ Wandering Academy returns to the Balkans. Initiated by the Borderland Foundation in Sarajevo in 2006, the Academy has been devoted to reflection and practices aimed at overcoming the crisis of a multicultural society in the modern world.

Its consecutive editions will take place in Tbilisi, Berlin, Wrocław, Brussels and Sejny. One of its fruits is the Handbook of Dialogue. Trust and Identity published in Polish, English and Russian. At the end of this year, the Wandering Academy will visit Tirana, Pristina and Skopje. The visits will consist of lectures, debates, artistic presentations and meetings of the "Café Europa", the “flying” literary café. Outstanding writers, artists and thinkers from Europe and the United States have already expressed their willingness to participate in the symposium.

A working session of "New Agora” on organization and preparation of its program was held on Sunday, 18 March 2018 in Skopje. Among its participants were: Robert Alagjozovski, Minister of Culture of Macedonia, Jacek Multanowski,  Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Macedonia, Krzysztof Czyżewski, Director of the Borderland, Bujar Luma, Director of the Balkan Cooperation Center LOJA and Łukasz Galusek, Deputy Director of the International Cultural Center in Kraków.
