Mr Faouzi Skali was designated in 2001, by the UN, among seven world personalities having contributed to the Dialogue of Civilisations (www.un.org/Dialogue/heroes.htm).
Initiator of Fès Festival of Sufi Culture (since 2007). He has authored several important works which have been translated into many languages on the subject of Sufism, the mystical aspect of Islam.

Doctorate in Anthropology, Ethnology and Sciences of Religions, Paris VII. Initiator of the «Fes Festival of World Sacred Music» which takes place in Fes every year since 1994. He is also the initiator of the Fez Forum “Giving a Soul to Globalisation” which take place during the Fes Festival of Sufi Culture period.
