Borderland books in Brussels

A Polish MEP Róża Thun with the Borderland series of Ukrainian poetry

For Europeans Facing the War series issued by the Borderland should be a good example of how Ukrainian culture and Ukrainian artists should be successfully supported.

During the opening of the exhibition called Europe=Solidarity in Brussels, a Polish MEP Róża Thun underlined the fact that hospitality, among many things, also means that people should be enabled to work accordingly to their qualifications, experience and skills. To Róża Thun, the Borderland series of books is a good example of the hospitality that not only Ukrainian writers, but also other artists and people of various professions deserve.

"Let us help them share their knowledge with us" said Mrs Thun.

The exhibition is to be seen in the building of the European Parliament. It was hosted by MEP Ramona Strugariu. Among the speakers were the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, the Ukrainian ambassador to the EU Vsevolod Chentsov and MEP Róża Thun.
