What shapes our opinions? Workshop with young people as part of the Changing Democracies program

It is an international initiative focused on collecting testimonies from witnesses of political and social changes throughout Europe. These stories later became the basis for lessons, educational materials, workshops, and a website that serves as a kind of oral history archive.
Our classes focused on how our views are shaped, how ideas flow through society, and what lies at the root of our opinions. We compared our personal experiences with recorded stories of witnesses to history, mainly about life under totalitarian regimes and the change in worldview that political transformation brings to the whole of society.
