In this city, where a tragic construction disaster took place in November last year, sparking mass protests that continue to this day, the topic of the debate was particularly relevant and resonant. An important part of the meeting was the Central European polyphony – speakers came from Poland, Georgia, Croatia, and Serbia, countries facing different challenges, but often rooted in the same neglect, omissions, and oblivion. This made the question of where and in what fields culture can find resources to face seemingly insurmountable challenges all the more important.
The debate was attended by:
Krzysztof Czyżewski (Poland)
Eka Kevanišvili (Georgia)
Monika Herceg (Croatia)
Bojana Kovačević Petrović (Serbia)
Aleksej Kišjuhas (Serbia)
