Mariya Hoyin: a new resident from Ukraine

The Borderland is happy to announce that the residency programme dedicated to Ukrainian artists is still going on

Another resident of the Borderland is Mariya Hoyina, an artist whose main focus is analogue photography, performance, collage and graphic design. She graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Lviv.

Mariya Hoyina is the author of Peryferium which is the photography project from her AIR Wro residency in Wrocław curated by Magdalena Skowrońska (2016).
She also worked on another photography project Three dots… which was possible thanks to the scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

During the Ukrainian Multimedia Outdoor Workshopher stay in Ustka, Poland at the Baltic sea she designed an art-book, The Diary of the Time of War (curated by Wweronika Teplicka, Ustka, Poland).
Mariya is staying in the International Centre for Dialogue in Krasnogruda between 1 and 31 May, 2023.
