The meeting took place in Krasnogruda’s Song on Porcelain cafe and was hosted by Krzysztof Czyżwski.
During the meeting Irena Grudzińska-Gross was talking about her latest book on Alexander Weissberg-Cybulski, a Polish-Austrian physicist, writer and businessman of Jewish descent who significantly contributed to spreading knowledge about Stalinist terror and show trials in Western Europe.
Irena Grudzińska-Gross is a friend of the Borderland Foundation. She is a historian, writer and scholar. Between 1998 and 2003 She also cooperated with the Ford Foundation where she was in charge of the Central and Eastern Europe Programme.
At the moment she is the professor of Slavic Studies at the Polish Academy of Sciences and a Guggenheim scholar.
