The title of the concert was Bridges. David Krakauer, Kathleen Tagg and students from Kaufman Music Center and Montclair State University’s John J. Cali School of Music performed the programme that included Keepers of the Flame. This piece was composed by Krakauer and Tagg during their stay in Poland.
Krzysztof Czyżewski reminds us in his Facebook entry that the piece was played for the first time with the participation of musicians/refugees from Ukraine and Syria and the Klezmer Orchestra of the Sejny Theatre.
