Dovilė Dagienė Doda comes from Vinius. She is an artist and photographer. She obtained her Ph.D. at the Vilnius Academy. Her draws the inspiration for her wor from the exploration of memory and forgetting and from the exact time and the place where photographs are taken. In 2020 she received the Photography Award from the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture. The award was given for ‘’the conceptual and empathetic look at the old wooden synagogues of Lithuania and for the subtlety with which the artist has given meaning to memory and nature and for the impressive way of expressing her artistic ideas”.
