Nataliia Domova – a new Ukrainian resident in Krasnogruda

The Borderland is happy to announce a new Ukrainian resident in Krasnogruda.

Nataliia Domova (b. 1987) is a writer of poetry and a translator of prose and poetry. She wrote a number of academic articles and papers on translation. She also organized several workshops on translating from English to Ukrainian and from Ukrainian to English.

She studied translation and contrastive linguistics at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

In Ukrainie she was awarded several times for her poetry and translation (including the translations of Edna St Vincent Milla and Wisława Szymborska).

In Krasnogruda she will be staying between 30 October and 30 November and working on her book of poetry and a translation from English into Ukrainian.
