The first part of the commemoration was the mass for Czesław Miłosz celebrated in the Catholic church in the nearby Żegary.
The Borderland also hosted the debate on Miłosz and Józef Czapski, “Looking at Inhuman Land with Eyes Wide Open” with Irena Grudzińska-Gross, Andrzej Franaszek and Mikołaj Nowak-Rogoziński as the panelists.
In the evening, at 20.00 in the space of the Invisible Bridge there was a reading session of the texts written by Józef Czapski and Czesław Miłosz.
