The Borderland hosted Mikołaj Trzaska, who performed at the White Synagogue in Sejny together with the Klezmer Orchestra of the Sejny Theatre.

Mikołaj Trzaska plays the saxophone and bass clarinet. He also writes film music. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk and was one of the founding fathers of the yass movement. He co-founded the legendary band Miłość and led the group Łoskot. Since the early 2000s, he has been active on the international improvised music scene, working with artists such as Peter Brötzmann and Ken Vandermark. His collaborations and solo projects are documented on numerous albums. He is also known for composing music for several films.
