The Klezmer Orchestra of the Sejny Theatre was performing live in the Old Yeshiva
The concert started at 6 PM.
The Orchestra consists of young people who cooperate with the Borderland Centre and Foundation in Sejny and was established during the staging of The Dybbuk by An-sky. The opening night of the pla was in 1996. Since then the youth from the Sejny region have been fascinated with klezmer music. Today it is another new generation that is introduced to this tradition of music. Young musicians replace the old ones and as the orchestra develops, new instruments are introduced.
