The participants from the Music and the Neighbourhood Narratives Studio met for the opening lecture whose purpose was to make two groups well-prepared for the trip to Warsaw for the opera performance.
The lecture was focussed on the origins of the form of the opera. Apart from the history of the genre, some historical and crucial performances and interpretations of the most famous opera pieces were presented to the listeners.
Maria Callas and Luciano Pavarotti are a good encouragement for the November lecture.
